Processing raw diamond abrasives into finished diamond micron sizes is Diprotex’s core competence. It is the result of continuous optimization of our manufacturing processes, combined with state-of-the-art production technology, highly sensitive measuring systems and an effective, ISO 9001 certified quality management system.

Lot-to-lot consistency : The combination of state-of-the-art grading equipment, visual and electronic measuring systems and stringent product specifications ensures highly reproducible results in the application.

Narrow size distribution : A narrowly graded abrasive yields a better surface finish and higher stock removal rate than broadly graded material. It also reduces abrasive consumption because the finest fraction of the abrasive contributes little to the stock removal. For these reasons, Diprotex has divided each traditional diamond size into two narrowly graded sizes.

Blocky, uniform particle shape : Only blocky, uniformly shaped particles with sharp cutting edges produce perfect surfaces in less time. It takes only one needle-shaped or flat (but large) particle to scratch a perfectly polished surface! Our proprietary shaping process is optimized for a good and consistent shape of the diamond particles. The absence of irregularly shaped particles is also one of the key requirements to producing narrowly graded diamond sizes.

  • Overview

Diprotex diamond powder is processed from raw material of all diamond types – synthetic polycrystalline, monocrystalline and natural diamond – into precisely graded diamond sizes. Standard sizes range from 0-50 nanometers up to 60-80 microns. This closely stepped array of narrow diamond sizes is designed to fine-tune your process to the required surface finish and maximum stock removal.
The exceptional characteristics of Diprotex’s micron diamond powders make a remarkable difference in today’s critical applications.

    - Unmatched lot-to-lot consistency

    - Narrow particle size distribution (PSD)

    - Uniform, blocky particle shape

    - Excellent diamond purity
Diprotex’s products are utilized in quality sensitive applications across industry. Diamond powders are used as loose abrasives, in bonded tools, or integrated into advanced products such as Liquid Diamond, diamond slurries and suspensions.
